Since I've returned from California, I haven't been in the mood to blog. It makes me sad, but I just haven't had anything to say. It worries me...maybe my stint as a blogger is over. My creative (or not-so-creative) juices may have dried up. Nothing seems worth writing about any more...
Or it could just be that I've been insanely busy since I've returned to good ol' Kantuck. In fact, as I write, I'm toggling between this screen and another that's loading (for my job). Maybe when things slow down, my mind will wander again...
Oops! The other window is open...

Not to fear, friend. Your words will not leave you. They are connected to your inner thoughts and those have pockets all throughout your mind. Here is a flashlight to help highlight the random stuff you think throughout the day. About food. About flowers. About the sky on the way to work. About ice cream in the summertime. Give one of your most favorite of stories of us in college. Or how you felt after you read Candide, pronounced Can-deed. (I pronounce it because I am not sure how it is spelled.) In the words of William Stafford, "Will we think of something else? Sure we will. We always do."
Thanks for the encouragement. You should be a writing teacher. :-) And Candide is Candide...although, I don't remember much of that book except for the part about the maid having to donate one buttock so that the ship wouldn't starve. Once I read that, the entire rest of the book was erased for me!
Honey, that's all I remember too!!!!;-)
