Well, thanks to Ericka, I've entered the world of blogging. I've been thinking about doing it for a while, but just didn't have the nerve to publish my thoughts online because, really, who cares what I think?
But then...I tried to post a comment to Ericka's site and it required me to create a blog. If that isn't a sign, then what is???
Anyways, I ended up with the name "Mindy's Spot." I had really wanted "Mindy Spews," but that sounded too complaining and femi-nazi-like. The reason I liked "Mindy Spews" is because Dave Shellhammer (from college days) said once in my 17th-century lit class, "As soon as Mindy is done spewing, I'd like to make a comment." I kind of liked the idea that I was spewing...and that no one else could interrupt me...
